Digital Marketing Nanodegree program vs. Google AdWords Nanodegree program.
While both programs are full-featured Nanodegree programs offering the same suite of benefits and services—such as real-world projects, expert project review, mentorship, career guidance, and more—the Digital Marketing Nanodegree program instills a 360-degree understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem, and the Google AdWords Nanodegree program teaches an in-depth understanding of one tool in the digital marketing ecosystem: the Google AdWords platform.In simplest form, the Digital Marketing Nanodegree program can be understood as a full-immersion learning experience. You take courses, learn important tools and concepts, and build projects that enable you to put your skills to work in real-life contexts. You are able to run actual campaigns on live platforms, and receive detailed feedback on your projects from expert reviewers. As a graduate, you will have a holistic understanding of how digital marketing works, and why it's so important.
The Google AdWords Nanodegree program, on the other hand, is specifically designed for students who want to get an in-depth understanding of all aspects of Google AdWords: Search, Display, Video, Shopping, and App advertising. You will run real-life campaigns on the platform, and get feedback from experts in the field. As a graduate of the program, you'll be uniquely prepared to succeed at an agency, go freelance or join a startup. You'll also be ready to earn the Google AdWords Certification.
The Digital Marketing Nanodegree program is composed of one (1) Term of three (3) months. A Term has fixed start and end dates.
To graduate, students must successfully complete 8 projects which affords you the opportunity to apply and demonstrate new skills that you learn in the lessons. The project will be reviewed by the Udacity reviewer network and platform. Feedback will be provided and if you do not pass the project, you will be asked to resubmit the project until it passes.
